Participating in MAP testing helps local public health officials and university leaders understand the current situation so they can develop and enact strategies to suppress the spread of COVID-19 in our community. If you are asymptomatic, you can prevent further spread of the virus to your family, friends, and others in the community by getting tested for the virus, isolating, and cooperating with contact tracers. Many people are asymptomatic carriers of the virus meaning they don’t know they are infected but could still pass the virus on to others. The program will go on a break for the weeks of December 20 and 27 and return January 3. Hours for the self-directed test kit program will be reduced for winter break starting December 10. For information on what your result means, please see our testing page. County Health officials may also contact positive cases via telephone, in addition to the emailed results.
