I integrated this in my HS4 HomeSeer system but it will also run on HS3 systems and with some adjustments on other HomeAutomation systems.

The APP is working with a Cloud connection but local control is more reliable and faster because communication between HomeSeer and Slide is directly without Internet cloudservices. Follow all instructions and setup/test the Slide before using the local control. The first step is to install and then activate the Slide with the Android/iOS APP. The solution is to work with a virtual device which is triggering a Curl Event. HomeSeer is working with plugins for third party products but unfortunately there is no Slide plugin. I found the instructions very clear and easy. The advantages from Slide is that you can install it very easy on your existing curtainsliders. The interface is kind of clunky, but it is functional.I wanted to integrate the Slide smart WIFI curtains from this Dutch company: in my HomeSeer HomeAutomation setup. Then you are able to turn them on or off.

Then select the location – in my case “ground” and “barn”

First select “My HomeSeer”, then “Devices” If you dont configure the account and password the HSTouch will just crash with no explanation.Īfter you have configured your account and password, run the HStouch App. To do this go to the settings menu on your iPhone and select “HSTouch”. Then you need install the Apple iOS HSTouch application from the App StoreĪfter installing the application you need to configure your account and password. This will provide the connection between the HomeTroller (in your house on your private network) and the HomeSeer server (on the internet) The first step in this process is to create an an account on Īfter you have an account you need to add your license (from the back of the HomeTroller) to your account.

If HSTouch Server is disabled then you should renable it. If you want to control your system from an iPhone you will need to enable the HSTouch Server on your Hometrolller (it is on by default).
